Black Tie

This is 18 year old Rebecca, a young Bedfordshire model who has just signed with an international model agency. She's got a beautiful classic pin up look, so Jess and I spent some type deciding just how best to capture her, staying (I hope) just the right side of experimental.

The set up on this:

Elemental M600 with a V55cm Beauty Dish and 6mm grid, high and right aimed at eye level to give a graduated downlight. Metered at 50 ISO F11.5

Elemental M600 with a 140cm Octagonal Softbox rear and left to give a nice edge lighting and create the necessary separation from the back drop. I also opened the edge of the softbox to allow a very small amount of spillage onto the black paper. Metered at 50 ISO F8.2

Very little post prod done save the removal of a couple of tiny skin blemishes and a 2% smoothing of skin tones.
