Watching the patterns move and change is fascinating, not sure how well it comes across as a still image.
The large version is definitely better than the small one.

Well done, like the contrast, just s suggestion, but if you darken slightly and increase the contrast you could achieve more depth and contrast between the patterns. Nice work, Spot on! Click!!!
