Version #2 is by far the best - cropping out the trees was a good move imo. Nice image.

Pity about the posts...I like the crop as it enlarges the trees.

Version 2 much better crop the posts are distracting from the main compositional elements of the shot. Especially the right hand post which leads your eye out of the picture.
