Here's a touch of summer: looking at it I cannot help wondering "where is the bee" One of my first atempts with the Canon 350D.
Thanks for looking.

I hope you are well, and raring to go come Spring. At Kingston Lacy the snowdrops are out - now where is that?
Take care.
Daphne

You'll be pleased with your camera, it's a good un, will take a little while to get into but you'll love it.
Lovely composition but you focusing is a little soft possibly caused by camera shake, you'll soon get used to the feel of it though.

I'll accept (reluctantly) that it's just "common" knapweed, but as a Scot it gave a lift to me as I'm sure it's a member of the thistle family.
Congratulations on the step-up to DSLR, lots to learn, but a good looking start!
Rgds., Jim

A lovely shot of this pretty flower, like the colour and presentation

Thank you Andrew: well I didn't know that. (I thought it was a thistle)
