I've always had an interest in art of all kinds and photography naturally fits in with a love of Dali, Klimpt, Superhero comics.

My current interest in photography was sparked by my friend Adrian when he bought a Canon 300D/Rebel. Once I saw the fantastic shots he was taking and the immediacy of Digital I was hooked. I'm now armed with a 20D and photoshop and really having a lot of fun with photography.

I used to have a Pentax Optio compact and had great fun Photoshopping the images. The messing about with Photoshop continued with the 20D with the result that I learn't very little about the techniques of taking a good photograph.

I know try to capture as close as possible to the final image 'in camera'.

I've no great preference for any particular type of photography, only for great images.
