This shot was of a striking Red Bridge in Bruges. I waited until the couple in Red crossed the bridge and had to pursuade others to wait while I took the photo. I also used the buzz filter selectively.

Great job, the couple in red certainly make the shot. What's the "buzz filter"?

Kathy, the Buzz is marketed by Fo2PIX. It is based on a software algorithm for enhancing military Photographs (bring out more detail). The author realised that the algorithm might be used in reverse to simplify pictures for artictic effect. While the filter can be very effective (my Venice Storm picture worked well), it is difficult to find the right pictures to suit this effect. In 5 years, I have only used it on 4 pictures. Dave

Great perspective here. The bridge really catches your eyes, and forces you to look down its lenght.

The bridge looks like wings - shame it's not local or I'd suggest taking a model dressed in floaty white to stand in the foreground and become an angel.
