Woke to the alarm at 0330, got dressed, filled the flask with coffee then off to Cambois beach. On arrival the tide was on the flood and the sea was in a calm condition. Surveyed the scene which was missing any foreground interest so decided to add some sandstone rocks from the high watermark ten yards behind the spot where I had set up the gear, added a bit of kelp for luck, waited for the incoming tide to wash away my footprints and to smooth sand around the rocks. Took a few shots before having to retreat further up the beach to stay dry !!
