I use a macro filter but all the images I take with it tend not to be as sharp as I want. was this a macrop lens? if it is I really want a macro lense after seeing this shot!

Orric...the lens used is a Sigma 180mm Macro lens with a ratio of 1:1. It's a cracking lens and a little hard to get the hang of with very little DOF to play with.A flash improves the DOF a good deal.


Settings were :- 1/90th sec @ f22 ISO 100 with ringflash
