Agree with the previous comment by focus_man ,where the subject is leaving rather than entering the picture, and also the main point of interest is the man walking out of the water and therefore less of the remaining scene seems to work better. Included a mod , flipped the man so he seems to walk into the scene, cropped and cloned out some distractions on the steps, also added some filters for a bit more punch. Hope this helps.
