..... baby spiders suspended high in a network of threads above two plants.

Please see version 2 taken about 30 mins later and from a slightly different angle. Fascinating to watch as they woke up and moved out across the threads.

wow that's a cool image - I've just grossed out half of my colleagues by showing them your wonderful image! very nice capture.
Well I like both versions as V2 is a nice reveal after looking at V1 (which i thought were Wasps (or Jaspers where I come from) too).

Thanks everyone, these little ones have a body about the size of a pin head! just been out to see them and they are making their escape in single file via a vertical thread straight into a tree. It is well over a metre in length so must have been made by the parent.

No thats Macro, love it
