Thank you so much for all the comments & clicks for 'River Detail', they are all much appreciated.
Tonight's was taken a bit further up the River Dove where it enters a gorge and drops at least 60 feet very quickly indeed. This is a part of that drop. The water level was very low last week but I can imagine this gorge being fairly dangerous during a heavy downpour as its sides are narrow and steep and show signs of a water level much higher than I encountered.
