This is a Fan Tailed Cuckoo, I've shot these birds before at another location but I just couldn't resist, they are so pretty. This one was gorging itself on Caterpillars and I was able to get this shot using a throw over hide supplied by Wildlife Watching Supplies. For any budding wildlife photographers out there, get at least a throw over cammo net for your head, either of these will allow you to get in amongst the wildlife.

I've added a third variant and thank goodness for DoF as the background here is a huge electrial pylon.... Wink
