I have no idea what this weed is called, but it was taken one very wet day in Chopwell Woods. Thought I would check out my lens's 'bokeh', which I understand is what we are supposed to call the ability to throw the background out of focus these days. I read once that it is Japanese for 'blurred background, which is probably wrong, so perhaps a Japanese member could put me right. There was me thinking it was French for 'bunch of flowers'.

Like you Dave,I am confused too.Up here we refer to ''bokeh'' as something we do after too much drink !!
However,it does not surprise me the Japanese have stole the word from us.
After all,they stole our whisky !!
