I know very little about Namibia, but this is excellent photojournalism with good composition, colour and detail. I like the road being on the diagonal, the strong shadows and the way the passengers have your attention.

A super capture, David, lovely to see. Carol

Thank you all - and pamelajean thanks for your detailed crit & Joan for your precise one Smile

Pamela not many know Namibia - to know it just go there - you shan't ever regret it - with the exception of the cost - Sad

It cost us £7000 for three weeks +/- ... car hire was a substantial portion of that - serious 4 wheel drive --

I don't begrudge a penny !! - I yearn to go back there - a photographers paradise!!

ps I don't quite have their attention - my wife being a femail has the edge Smile

Beautiful image you have captured the real Africa makes me yearn to go back
Alexa

Thanks Alexa - I suppose if I have any direction in my shooting it is to relfect the environment or the the individual in some sort of honest way

I too am from Africa and always loved empty space - used to leave my friends to continue their way on long walks (Swaziland), which we did every weekend, and just lie down in the grass & absorb the space and solitude.

It's helped a lot, I believe in my shots, also the USA where I've done a fair amount of travel ...
