these fellas/fellesses were there and decided to keep ahead of us - they saw us very much as intruders and made that plain .... they kept a distance , 80 metres, kicking backwards (at first I thought they were slipping ... oh no... ) if I was a pursuing lion in close proximity I should have had seconds thoughts!!
... suddenly a group of their comrades joined them from the left and they all took off -
photography became very difficult - we were in a vehicle and they were travelling at giraffe speed - exit right
................

Thanks all - yes Jim we choose our time of being there related to people and weather - fewer people and chance of rain/clouds - both worked out pretty well ![]()
