Brooklands

This the Brooklands motor racing circuit. It was the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit, constructed at Weybridge in Surrey in 1907. With it's distinctive banked circuit allowing the cars to go faster this is where motor racing started. Quite a sad sight to see this now defunct famous track slowly getting overgrown with weeds.
