Whilst on holiday recently we visited Tropical Birdland in the Midlands. What a fantastic day out it was seeing all the birds, many of which fly around freely. I’m no expert in birds but we were told that they are territorial and once trained (fed) they are quite happy to stay and will not fly off. This means for us humans we can see them and feed they in a normal non caged surrounding. If your ever in the area I can recommend a visit, just Google ‘Tropical Birdland’ to find it.

Another interesting tidbit about the macaw: those black feather patterns in the face are different for each individual.
