What do you think?

For those of you that are interested this image was taken virtually in the game Gotham Racing on the xbox360.

It seems that more and more games, are offering this facility, and judging by the forums the addition of being able to take a photograph within the game proves popular.

As with a normal camera you control the f stop, and hyper focal distance, positioning framing and composition, along with some further tequniques that would require you use software such as Photoshop, most importantly the software alows you to experiment with something that only the elite get to do, position the top cars pretty much however you like.

So is this an alternative to getting out in the wild on a race circuit etc. NO! but to those with limited budget, and an interest in technology 30 plus console is a bargin.

Whatever your thoughts, you can not deny that virtual photography and the real thing are definatly getting closer.

Like nothing i have seen on ePz before.

I am a big fan of any digital art or photography in this case. Like the idea, its different, taking photos in games. Plus seeing how you have the ability to change certain options like you would on a real camera makes it even more like photography.

Great shot, welcome to my award gallery.

"The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work... when you go to church... when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth," said Morpheus.

I Have spent more time fiddling with the camera in PGR4 than driving the cars, well nearly anyway. Its a great addition to a game to be able to take pictures with a virtual camera, there is no limit to height and angle, plus you get all the normal apeture f-stop and a load of filters to play with all within the game itself. Nice image and well thought of, dont know how you got it from 360 to here though, but then only had mine a couple of weeks.
