My hand--age 59 and daughter Emma's hand--age two and a half months.
Clearly it's a beautiful Image.I think a little bit post edit can make it more beautiful .
I'm not a wizz with PhotoShop so any suggestions you might have about how to improve it with post edit would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the vote.
I agree with Amanda - if you enable modifications on your pictures, you may even get some nice versions - I'm always amazed by the variety of things people can do with my own images - mind-expanding!
As a confirmed darkroom person, I'm not your man for PS - though I'd suggest burning in the background a bit to reduce interference with the lovely hand contrast. The tricky bit - though not impossible - is to increase contrast in your own hand, without affecting the delicate tones in your daughter's hand.
If you can retake the shot in natural light, and avoid using flash, that may allow you to deal with a lot of the issues. But spontaneous pictures are not always easy to redo!
Excellent & artistic capture & composition. Great meaning.
Like the composition, I am a strong believer of post processing.
