Well I got down to the beach last Sunday morning with the camera for the first time since July!
The weather guaranteed a sunrise - but with such as dead cert comes a bit of a problem - no clouds - and this morning was no exception.
So I went about hunting a strong graqphic composition which was not reliant on an amazing dawn sky.
I set up right at the waters edge and initially had the camera set up down low to really emphasise and exaggerate the shapes. However this marginilised the colour contrast between the sea and sky as the sea and little outlet took on more colour from the sky. So I set up the camera way back from first set up location and as high up on the tripod as I could, greatly widening the angle and increasing the colour contrast between the sea and sky.
