Looking up and c atching up with old RAF mates at the moment, thanks to facebook and forces reunited Smile

I sadly have seemed to have lost nearly all my early and commisioned days photos with numerous house moves etc :-(

I did however come accros this, my bed pack from day 13 of basic traing back in 1979 Smile It ended up under the bed and slept under a heavy coat for 6 weeks Smile as did all the billet to save making the dammed things every morning at 5.30am.

We were the last intake to use the old accomodation building and it was demolished after we left, letting the posh newer ones be used !!!!!

Camera:Pass :-)

Ah such happy memories, sleeping on the floor to save making the bed, teenagers nowadays don't worry about making beds, or very much else it would seem.

Wondered where you were Dave. Now I know.

God that scared me looking at that pic.

Remember those damned bumpers you used to polish the floor with.
