First, thanks for the wonderful response to my last upload.

I took this on the Monday morning following the recent Pitlochry meet, at the north eastern end of Loch Tay.

I suspect it has poor thumbnail appeal, but I like it's simplicity and atmosphere, and hope you do too.

Superb shot and as rontear says, it has a dreamy ethereal quality. Beautifully taken considering there wasn't a lot to focus on. Like this a lot, Nigel.

Off course the thumbnail doesn't do it justice but large is wonderful, as some one else has already said it has an ethereal quality. Absolutely perfect and one for the wall.

Fabulous. I think it's the lack of any distinguishable horizon, the boat and buoys seem to be floating somewhere between water and sky.

At first glance at the thumbnail Nigel ,i did hesitate to be honest .But glad i viewed it and Large ! .The light catching the mast and buoys are just enough to pull them into the image and give it the quality stamp .

beautiful capture Nigel, I love this. I think it would work even better slightly more over exposed to make that grey mist whiter? Just a thought before it goes on the wall...

Thanks all, I appreciate your votes and comments. Richard, I will try your idea before I have this printed, but I don't want to lose the subtle variations in tonality in the mist, or the hint of trees in the background.
