The Burrowing Owl (athene cunicularia)
Found this Owl from my folders from a wee way back. A resident of that superb place (IMO) The Hawk Conservancy Trust at Weyhill. Not a native of this country, although he does look very much like our Little Owl, but its natural habitat is the plains of North and South America.
I think he is a cracking little bird and I hope you will enjoy looking at him.
