I thought of Peterlaw and all those that love trains.. except I didn't get to see the train but I did get the tracks so I guess one out of two aint bad.
This is near my house..

Thanks for the C+C's on my last upload.. this is a long way from the Nuthatch I know lol

Both well composed shots with lovely detail, texture and colour. That must be such a lovely route to travel on especially at this time of year, with those trees looking so beautiful.

my train did come but there isnt a picture there

To the Left hand side of the tree line is the main road and I live 3 miles above where this pic was took. I can see the tracks from my house.. From there would be looking down on them. As I started up my driveway I heard a train heading down the tracks... no way to get a shot of it Sad

Definitely prefer V1 to V2, it's more mysterious. V2's good for the track coming out of the corner, though.

V2 has a way of engaging the observer-- like this the best!

Both are good captures Dawn, looks like it is a well used and maintained line, are there any passenger trains on it, or is it all freight?
