There is another shot of this bird in flight on this portfolio, but although I prefer in flight shots, for me this image has a delicate, amost elegant feel to it. hope that you like it!

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. The bird is a female, and had a nest near the hide I was in. She was still sitting on eggs at the time I was there. Presumably she had come out to feed and have a stretch.
