this is my lovely mum and dad and my little princess daughter, evie rose. my dad had a cataract operation in april, but it went wrong. he got an infection in it after the op, and hes lost most of his sight in that eye.hes had op after op since april. a tiny bit of sight came back, around may time.but he had to have a really big op just after this trip to blackpool in august. so we took him there for a pre op break. he had the op, a gas bubble put at the back of his eye, 4 hours in theatre, but that wasnt a success, then a few weeks after that op, hes had the same op again this morning, he went down at 8am and came back up to the ward at 2pm, that gives you some indication how big this operation is, weve been biting our fingernails all morning worrying. but hes now back on the ward. going to see him tonight, so we are praying that this one will be a success.
(hes a bloody brave man) really proud of him.
