took this last week in chesterfield, i took my camera to jessops in chesterfield, to try out the nikon 18-70mm lens, and took a few shots, to view them later on the pc. i also had my 10-20mm with me, but no tripod. so i thought i would rattle a few off, while my wife was shopping. this shot was handheld at iso 800. so its been through a noise reduction programme.
(not an award winner, but i like it.)

Amazing sky and lovely lines of stalls and wooden legs

thanks very much you guys, been working some long hours martin,so not had time for anything, the last time i was out with the tripod and bag, was the meet at curbar, frans birthday. this was just a grab shot, because there was nothing else worth taking. i must get out with the gear.

sean, i must say your portfolio has come on in leaps and bounds. (stunning)
Just up the road from home and i guess its just about as interesting a shot of the market and market hall as i have seen, probably due the induced mood and the heavy sky, in fact i have only ever seen brightly lit shots of it before, its not all about tripods and gear sometimes grabbed oportunities are better for the spontinaity.
