Merry Christmas to all of my great EPZ friends
This shot reminds me of how I felt yesterday. I may have looked calm but like the Swan - under the water my feet were paddling away like crazy with so much to do in what seemed like a short weekend - my washing machine decided to pack up halfway through a load never to work again - so there was I at the launderette dealing with a weeks washing rather than out with my beloved camera in the lovely sunshine that we had yesterday!
I am off to the dentist to have a filling replaced today - what fun

This is such a lovely shot! I like the processing you have applied here from the b'blown out whites on the swans back to the subtle shades of down closer to the water.

Very beautiful - elegant, graceful, simple. And the reflection just slightly broken by ripples, which is always more satisfying to my eye.
I guess this is an epz-friendly upload, but this is the season of friendship to all men (and women)!

PS I agree entirely - we do what we do for the love of it, and the learning process - I'd hate to be calculating 'friendliness' ratings every time I lifted the camera!
