Just been lucky enough to go on Safari in Tanzania. I hired a 100-400mm L Canon lens from lensesforhire and wanted to show off the brilliance of this lens!
Have made no modifications to the photo, save resizing for uploading.

Its nice, - do you know he has brown eyes? (See mod)

Im glad you like the lens, - this particular lens has had some issues with the occasional poor performer, but this looks nice.

Thanks for thr pro critique. Really liked your mod and ideas so gave it a go myself.
Must admit though I did struggle with the contrast/lightness a bit. But I do think the B&W version looks striking.

Great shot to begin with, but I like #3 best (large print with black frame/white matte would look great on a wall)

Pin Sharp. The composition is good too with a tight crop and B&W rendition. Zebras are my favorite for gray scale adjustments.
Mr. Reid's comments are to be considered. Would really make a superb Large Format Print.
