Haridwar is one of the seven sacred cities of the Hindus and a major pilgrimage centre.Haridwar’s chief object of pilgrimage is Har-Ki-Pauri, the bathing ghat,or steps,along the Ganges river.It has what believers consider to be a footprint of Lord Vishnu impressed into a stone.A Kumbh Mela is held here every 12th year.

This crowd is nothing compare to the Kumbh Mela holy dip. I remember there were 1250000000 devotees took holy dip during 2010 maha kumbh.
I could guess from thumbnail that it is a D200 pic. dada er moddhe Haridwar ghure elen, eka na boudi ke nie ?
