Well for todays birthday treat for Chris we went to Warwick Castle. This little beauty is sat across the river from the castle and is partly hidden by trees. I knew this just had to be a sepia moment and believe I caught her just right (with the shafts of light on the end of her) and some coming through the trees. I also liked the way the light had lit up the shafts of tall grass at the bottom of the picture.
Very little done to this, cropped, a tad of contrast, lightened then burned a couple of bright spots out.
Big is much better.
Thank you for looking and sorry to those who were kind enough to comment on my heron shot but I knew it wasn't something I was happy with so took him down.
