Well for todays birthday treat for Chris we went to Warwick Castle. This little beauty is sat across the river from the castle and is partly hidden by trees. I knew this just had to be a sepia moment and believe I caught her just right (with the shafts of light on the end of her) and some coming through the trees. I also liked the way the light had lit up the shafts of tall grass at the bottom of the picture.

Very little done to this, cropped, a tad of contrast, lightened then burned a couple of bright spots out.

Big is much better.

Thank you for looking and sorry to those who were kind enough to comment on my heron shot but I knew it wasn't something I was happy with so took him down.

Just the right amount of toning in this Dawn, I like your choice of angle and presentation too. Did you get some good pic's at the castle? Warwick is on my high priority list of locations.

I knew you could do this justice Dee. I love this. It really has that old feel to it.the lighting is wonderful. But you do have to look at the bigger pic to appriciate it.
Thanks for a great day yesterday.

Oh! Good one! Great Sepia color tones. Makes it look "old west-ish". Jenn
