Superb Trev, I like the framing with the trees and the rich tones. Top shot mate Smile

This is superb! I think the B&W helps focus attention on the dogs expression.

The washed out effect is what caught my eye! Smile

I'll bet this is superb full size, the richness of the foreground and the low cloud make quite an impact!

Wishing you continued recovery and good health for the coming year....Those photos wont take themselves! Smile

The Poker Man

I agree about the light Smile Though I find the image let down by the position of the loose card, is he throwing it or being handed it? It should be obvious but isn't because it is sharply frozen in time and partially out of the frame.

Simple uncluttered compositions are always the most eye catching!

So much to like! compositon, timing and the total abandonment of the hounds to their quest.

When I first saw this I thought someone had given a politician a gun...

Great capture and all the better for the juxtapostion.

Cool! I like the different pose and overall tone.

I think this is a fantastic image. I love the sweeping curves in the forground and the reflections increasing the textural feel, then the emerging figure and the wonderful splash of colour in the background!

Not sure whether losing the light by taking a vertical crop would strengthen it.

Looks good enough to eat.....and drink! Smile

Beautifully taken. I do find her posture a bit too neat and tidy, which makes her look as if she is posing rather than lost in thought.
