This past weekend I have been in Krakow and took the hour long drive out to the Museum at Auschwitz-Berkenau. I managed to steal this picture in a rare moment when there were no tourists entering the camp on their guided tours.
Thanks for looking.

A moving image to give us all something to think about, I agree this could really work well in mono
I can't believe that this received so many clicks in so little time. Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I'll try it in mono (I have my photoshop night class tonight so will be able to seek professional help!) and post it again if the results look good. Thanks again, Esther
Hi Esther,
It appears that you have been to many of the places I have; Auschwitz, Birkenhau, Prague, Liverpool, Crosby!
I visited Auschwitz and Birkenhau in August 2000 on a tour of Eastern Europe. I found it a disturbingly pleasant place to visit, sun shining, mature trees.. then the heavens opened so we all had to run for cover.
I prefer the black and white image, as it dates it back to the war. Well captured
