Hi Fefe...good point.....the colour one you couldn;t see my niece....so these two photos were processed with my sis in law in mind ![]()
Well captured , like your idea. The torch comes our way next week. Jamie
excellent selective colouring.
And now let us all say olympic, rings and what a wonderful SILVER shot it is.
Because I really feel for the poor beggars who get forced to take the RINGS, GOLD and OLYMPICS off their activities, windows and greetings.
Your picture reflects the true spirit that got forgotten!
Thankyou folks..yikes you've given this a proper reception..and TWO AWARDS!!
Buzzing..thankyou ![]()
Cheers Andrew..here comes the Science bit :
Puddletown is on the River Piddle on the Piddle valley.
However, Queen Victoria vistied during here reign & local dignitaries thought it unfit for her to visit a Piddle..so they change the name to Puddle.....and now we are the only puddle amonst piddles in the area........fact!
Thankyou K T...award well deserved..your stuff blows me away!

So the river and valley are still named Piddle? If so, didn't the incongruity concern the Queen? I mean, to remame it Puddletown and leave the river and valley as Piddle!
