Most probably the last view an insect has as it turns to see this formidable predator bearing down on it.
Able to fly forward - backwards- sideways - and also hover, add that together with a speed of around 37mph and you have a very formidable predator.
This shot was captured with the Dragonfly moving towards me in a slow hover.
