When we came out of the canyon we came across a memorial to 11 tourists who died in a flash flood in 1997. Before that we had not been aware that this beautiful place could also be a very dangerous place.

Great shot. I love the colour. It also makes you think, you have to really look to decipher what you're looking at. The shading is quite ambiguous.
