Here is my first upload.
Taken on a recent trip to Botany Bay on the Isle of Thanet, Kent.
Still learning, and enjoying, the art of photography with encouragement from my husband (Shaun_W). At least I think it is encouragement!

hi della, welcome to ePz :o)
im a sucker for seagulls, i reckon they're really under rated!
anyway, this is an ok shot, but the hghlights seem to be a little over exposed and the bird looks a little soft. might be my 4.30 am eyes, or indeed my lcd minotor.
one of the common things i think most people do to 500 pixel uploads is give them another sharpen before they post them.
obviously, this isn't gospel, but it might have helped this shot a little.
i still like it though, well done, and having fun is they key isn't it??
