It certainly looks like quite a trek Stewart,but going by this image it was well worth it.It has great distance and is an excellent view.The composition is great too.I dont know this part of the country at all but it looks well worth a visit one day.Nice one Stewart.

Well worth the effort, beautiful shot Stewart. My wife knows Greenock well she's originally from Adrossan, bought back some happy childhood memories for her.

This is beautiful, Stewart. Lyle Hill is a great location for shots over the Firth Of Clyde. Love the depth of colour here.

stunning view well worth the climb
really worth the effort to get up above the scene
would be tempted to crop of the grass in the f/g

By the time it unfolded I was panting for breath, must have been very High!! What a panarama unfolded.When u consider, yachts in harbour anything from 16ft to 28ft long looking like specs;that gives scale.
The P.F. Is looking good.

Well worth the climb Stewart...the balance of composition is good and I like the distant mountain backdrop which is complimented by the curve of the bay and sharp detail in the buildings.

Like your latest view of this...but personally I much prefer this one.
Stunning viewpoint and wonderful, more natural colour.
