I took this shot of the northeast`s famous land mark Penshaw Monument near Sunderland last Sunday. This prooved to be a tricky subject to photo as there wasn`t a good vantage point to take shots from and this one was just a test shot to check exposure and composition at the begining of the shoot. After we walked around the site we decided to go over to the park next to the monument to take shots from a distance to get a good landscape shot but the sky was to bright as the sun was setting and ended up with no good images so worked on this in photoshop the get a half decent photo from a disapointing shoot. The image was a single shot as a RAW file and all I did was boost the colours a little, sharpen the image and clonned my shaddow out from the foreground. The settings were F22 , 1/15sec exposure, iso 100 using my sigma 10-20 mm wide angled lens. Hope you like the shot, comments welcome. Thanks Den

Been looking to shoot this myself for a while, maybe at sunrise / dusk.
