Another one of Portland Lighthouse from my brief visit to Dorset a couple of weeks ago.

Minutes later it poured down.

What a lovely blend of light and rich colour Dennis...the lighthouse and the wave breaking is the contrasting beauty...great balance to your exposure.

been meaning to ask this from your previous EC. As I don't know the place... what's that large white cucumber-like thing in the bg on the coast ?

@Andy - Thank you.

@Koen - Trig point. Trig points were a tool to give surveyors a frame of reference for surveying the UK in the days before electronic positioning aids were available (GPS etc).
