A bit more picture postcardy than my normal stuff but I always want my images to capture how it felt to be there at the precise moment the shutter was released and this was a beautiful sunny autumn afternoon so I hope that's what the image says???

Sorry I haven't been around much over the last few months but this is a super busy time for me not least because I'm tying the knot on Sunday Smile

Thanks for looking
Den

Beautiful scene , great warmth in the tones and like all the layers of trees and mountains , gives it great depth.Good luck on Sunday.

Who cares about being labelled "picture postcard"? It's a beautiful shot, and nice to see a landscape that isn't over-saturated. The blue in those hills is sheer magic. All the best for Sunday, hope she understands about photography!

Lovely calm feel and lovely subtle colour.

Excellent Dennis.
The foreground stand out well, and the recession in the light on the hills behind is magical.

The colour pallet looks a little more 'mid day' than 'dawn/dusk' - and if that is the case, then you have used the difficult light very well indeed.

Hi Matt

Yes this is mid afternoon. Not dramatic light, more pretty and peaceful, which I think suits this beautiful little tarn perfectly. Not epz friendly but I like it Smile

Den

lol, I know what you mean Den but what do photographers know about photography anyway? ;o)

I think you captured a lovely peaceful moment. Great depth of focus in large too.

Well done.

A good strong composition with very natural lighting, works for me anyway.
