A tried and tested composition from Saltburn pier but this time in reverse, opposite direction and opposite end of the day
Thanks for looking and LARGE is larger
What a beautiful image, fantastic composition.
It makes an excellent composition. A
lovely capture fab looking sky, excellent composition
Wonderful image - well done !
very well taken
Love the light just spilling onto the pier and catching the metal work
Lovely work Dennis
Love this series from here Den and this is no exception whatsoever.
The light you got that morning was just sublime and you've recorded it perfectly. Fine composition as ever ... you must've had the tripod at pretty much full extension for this?

Thanks Paul. It's one of Manfrotto's 055 series tripods so is quite high to start with but it was just at its normal height
An absolute corker Dennis the subtle light and shadows on the planking is beautiful.

I have the 055 with the 410 geared head. Not light but really rock solid.
I love this shot Dennis, the cloud formation filling the top right could not have been more perfect.

for me theres nothing wrong with this. i like the way the pier finishes on the horizon and some nice colour in the sky. it doesnt grab me in the same way as alot of your stuff not sure why.lesley
Looks fine to me Dennis!
Fantastic capture Den. I think the decision of height that has been pointed out is very effective and allows the whole image to breath.
Very niced image Dennis..
It's a fantastic sky you've captured there, and as you say, the composition is tried and tested and works very well.
