I've been using this view quite a lot on workshops recently and have been thinking that the images I've helped clients create have been better than any of my own, so I thought I'd better get back up there on my own! I ended up picking a particularly cold, wet and windy afternoon to make my image (New Years Day!), which made it uncomfortable to stand around waiting for the light but it does (I think!) really add to the mood of the image.

Like everything about this image Den apart from the white van in the foreground which is a tad intrusive.
The warm fg belies the cold ocean behind.
