Just back from 8 days in the Torridon area of Scotland. Absolutely mind blowing scenery and mountain vistas up there but unfortunately the weather refused to cooperate for the vast majority of the time, I guess it is the highlands! In fact it seemed that every time we opened our camera bags it triggered a deluge!!! Anyway found some a...mazing new location, just have to get back up there in better weather to photograph them and we did get a few breaks...
I think this is probably my favourite image from the trip, taken shortly after sunset as yet another downpour cleared into Upper Loch Torridon...

Even when the heavens open and the rain lashes down the mountains and glens in this area show a beauty that fills the brain with their grandeur. I always love a visit to Torridon hail, rain or shine.
