The forecast said heavy cloud with the chance of a few breaks around dawn so I thought there could be a chance of some dramatic light and got up at 3am and headed for Whitby. Unfortunately when I got there I was greeted by an almost empty sky Sad Oh well it was a nice morning and I'm not displeased with the images especially as the boards were nice and wet.

I'll upload 2 versions as I can't choose between them...

A massive thanks for the awards and votes yesterday I wasn't expecting it at all Smile

Two marvellous shots, Dennis. Well worth the early start to the day. The composition of each is excellent, esp. so in V 1, and the light and predominately cool colours of early day so beautifully captured. Lovely bot of work.
Ronnie.

Agree with Ronnie with everything he has said apart from I will go with ver 2 . They are very similar though ...Phil

The lack of cloud makes for a simply yet effective image Den. V1 is stronger, as the pier in V2 feels slightly too central IMO.

Very great images Den. I like both, but how lucky to find wet boards. I met with Iansnowdon the other morning here, also, not a cloud in sight, but great company.
