The light is beautiful on the bridge Jeremy and I really like the way that the movement of the cloud runs parallel to the bridge. Excellent work.

Dawn Surprise by martin.w

Dawn Surprise

Beautiful shot Martin. The lights lovely. I usually have the opposite thing happen with clouds. Arrive at location with a sky full of glorious potential then all the cloud dsiappears just as the sun rises or starts to set. Tongue

Thank you everyone. I love this shot, of course because it is of my wonderful wife but also because it really was one of those all to rare occasions where I recognized that a really nice image was in front of me and was able to take the opportunity.

Quote: I'm sure she is impressed with this, a moment forever ( did you get any shortlisted Landscape POTY ?) Derek.

She is Ron. Already framed and on the wall. One image shortlisted in Landscape POTY.

Quote: A lovely photo of your wife in a great setting. The trees make an a arch, which imsuspect is not an accident.

I was actually inside a natural circular gazebo/vine thing with the various arches formed from bent willow Peter.

Higher & Higher by WhiteRose1

Higher & Higher

An excellent architectural shot Dave. The flash of red close to the vanishing point and the positioning of the distant building between the two subject buildings shows a very well thought out composition. This image has lots of impact without using a long exposure or dramatic b&w post processing . That's rare !

Bugarach 2 & 3

I find v2 a much more satisfying image Rende. The wider angle and that fabulous sky make this rather special.

You should trust your instincts Alan because this is very good. That austerity and the simplicity are very effective.
