I took a run down to Margate on Thursday to get some long exposure images using the Lee Big Stopper. I concentrated on shots looking across the pool out to sea and was ready to pack up and go home when I turned around and noticed the lights had come on. This image turned out to be one of my favourites of the evening.

Some lovely low light reflections in the water, Derek, and the long exposure effect on the clouds look good. The stars of the show are the red steps and the yellow bouy. An unconventional composition which works very well. Top work.

The lights on has changed this image to something very special Derek, you have a wonderful composition with the bright red rail above the harbour ladder. I've said it before many times, "Always look over your shoulder" it certainly worked for you here.

Beautifully composed image Derek and a real eye-catcher.

This is good, love the red ladder it really pulls you into the image as i am sure that was your intention to do so.
A good job you did turn around, it's a refreshing change of angle on a seascape that works so well...
