I uploaded a photo of my jam making five years ago - seems like 5 minutes ago !!!
Thanks for looking
Looks tasty raspberry jam Helen
and the bubble captured shows how hot!!
It should be fermenting well by now, Helen, . Lovely textures.
this takes me back to when my grandma used to make jam helen wonderful colour and detail a belter nice one
makes attractive image too helen.
Yummy raspberries, Helen, will make delicious jam, but I prefer eating them straight from the bush, with a dollop of cream . Unfortunately I cannot buy raspberries here, neither the fruit nor the canes Carol
Thanks Andy, Yung and Carol
Brilliant shot, great textures and colours, shame it wont be ready for my brekki
Great photo of yummy berrie jam Helen !! We have our Youngberrie festival here in Swellendam over the weekend where we can go and pick our own buckets full for very cheap ! Then my wife starts slaving
Love the way this rises in layers. And I'm pretty sure that I remember the original.
Clever and original work, as always, Helen. Superbly processed and presented and conjuring up memories of warmth and delicious smells !
Fancy some toast now
I love raspberries fresh or in jam.
I can see there'll be lots of textures captured from this.
Looking forward to see what else you'll do with this.
Making jam and pickles is one of my favorite kitchen duties. Love it!
Excellent tones Helen, if you wait for a photo of my cooking! You have a long wait, I burn water.
One of those images that begs a proper comment, but all I can think to say is yummmmm! to the jam and to the details in this wonderfully portrayed pan!
Not had jam for ages Helen.
Or as we call it here,''a jeely piece'' !!
And thanks for your award.
Very much appreciated !!
Yummy, I can almost taste it from here! A lovely bubbly shot
Great composition Helen - I make jam and have often thought about photographing it but didn't know how to go about it. Now I know having seen this - it works so well - and I'm sure it was delicious.
Well captured from inside the pan! Hope it wasn't too hot in there.
Mmmmmm I love the toasted fat end of a plain loaf (don't think you get them in England), slathered in raspberry jam. Moira
A very clever image Helen. The handle provides the 'hook' for the eye to travel too.
Many thanks everyone for your comments and to Derek for his User Award - which I'm thrilled to bits to receive
Mmmmm, can smell it cooking - yum. Love all that wonderful condensation too.
Next to fresh rasberries the Jam is my favourite on toast or in Victoria Sandwich xxx
Thanks Mavis and Pascal
the tones are simply fantastic!
I love the colours in this shot, it adds a warm friendly feeling to the home made jam, well done.
Please send jam at once!
Thanks Rick - all gone to the church craft fair and all sold I'm afraid
