Thank you for the votes/comments on my previous Grebe images, much appreciated as always.

Good pose and detail Derek, a bit surprised you got a shutter speed of 1/1250 here as the light doesn't look that good considering the BG and perch,

There was quite a bright sun from the right and the background is a dark tree and bushes some distance back, straight out of the camera like that.
