Managed to get my first Waxwing yesterday in Lichfield. Minus 3 degrees conditions and not the best light, but still happy got one at last.

Flat light shows up the colours well, the bird is sharp with lots of feather detail and the touch of frost on the twig gives seasonal information so I think it's a very well put together image.
